images should be treated with great respect. It is against the law to take or send them out of Thailand except under very special circumstances. |

must be kept to yourself. Not on the table and certainly not pointing an anybody. |

whenever possible. Thai's love it, especially when you say nice things about Thailand. Hair and head should not be touched. If you do so by accident, excuse yourself. |

are the most important people in the society and must be treated with respect at all times. Touching a monk or his robes by a women is strictly taboo. Please say "Thank You" or smile your appreciation. The Thai phrase is "Kaup Khun Krap" by a man and "Kaup Khun Kha" by a woman. |

with the finger is acceptable for objects and animals but not for people. |

take it easy - at least at the beginning of your stay. You will soon come to appreciate and enjoy the Thai's laid-back attitude to time and punctually. Keep pressure for when you get home ! |
